Bird Nests

We have robins, cardinals, and sparrows nesting in our yard this spring. They've been busy building nests and I see that now there are beautiful blue eggs: a sure sign of spring. I'll watch for and post pictures of the babies.

Ice Out on Rose Lake

This was taken on Monday. Tovin was using a rake to scoop ice out of the lake and you can see the pile of lake ice he has made behind him. Jason is testing the ice thickness out by the log and later took the canoe out to ram his way through the ice floes. On Wednesday we still had a few ice chunks in the morning, so official ice out was Wednesday. The latest ice out in my memory.

A "Sensitive Soul"
