Welcoming the troops
After church, Hazel, Edward, Huldy and I ate at the Perham Subway and then went to Luce. All the Vergas people gathered there for a chance to welcome home the local troops as they passed by on their way to the Detroit Lakes Armory for final dismissal.

Transplanted lillies
After these lillies had bloomed at the farm, Huldy trasplanted them to home and here they are blooming again in just a few weeks.

The First Annual Rose Lake 9.2k Looper , held throughout Fourth of July week got off to a start early Monday morning with Bruce and Huldy taking to the road. Lime green t-shirts, compliments of Huldy, made for a festive mood and a great way for traffic to spot the Loopers en route.

Mighty Polar Bears
We spent Saturday morning at Henry Vilas Zoo. The weather was beautiful and lots of animals were out. It was a very fun trip!
