2 Tablespoons butter
18 1/2 oz. butter cake mix (not yellow)
4 eggs
1/2 cup amaretto
1/2 cup water
1/2 cup veg. oil
Glaze:
1 cup sugar
1/4 pound margarine
1/2 cup water
1/4 cup amaretto
Brown almonds in butter; drain. Sprinkle over bottom of greased,
floured bundt pan. In large bowl combine cake mix, eggs, amaretto,
water and oil. Beat 2 minutes. Pour over nuts. Bake in preheated 325
degree oven for 45 minutes or until tester comes out clean.
While cake bakes, combine all glaze ingredients in small saucepan.
Boil 3 minutes.
When cake has cooled in pan 5 minutes, drizzle glaze over top. Let
stand 2 hours. Remove cake from pan.
This cake is SO YUMMY!
